Re: Anet A8 y axis overheat

Excellent! Where did you find this datasheet? I'd like to have one.

Re: ET4 Pro Y-Axis "Stuttering" (Wheel Bearing Issue?)

This sounds very much like a warranty issue to me; it sounds like either your sprocket or the belt is out of spec. If the pitch of the belt doesn't exactly match the pitch of the sprocket, the belt will try to ride up on the sprocket, seriously straining the stepper motor and possibly breaking the b...

Re: END Connector Upgrades for ET Series Printers

That's pretty close, although there are a couple of technical inaccuracies. The solution is good but awfully permanent; it would be better if you also installed an automotive-type connector offboard so that you could if necessary remove either the heater or the board without taking them both togethe...

Re: Problem seting up to print ABS

Hmmm...! Doe this happen with every STL that you try to print through Cura? Try something small. If you know how to read any GCode, dig through the file to be sure that nothing is telling the temperatures to drop like that. Meanwhile, doublecheck your Cura settings. It may be using one temperature f...

Re: How to reduce the minimum temp on a Anet A8?

You may need to trick the printer to get past that limitation and print polycaprolactone. You can experiment with the thermistor and trickily make it show exactly twice its real temperature; without actually doing it myself, I'll say that I believe that would only require one potentiometer to get it...

Re: Anet A8+ Y axis inverted

Sure. This is an easy one. You remember the two screws you used at the ends of the Y axis belt? You remember that there were two "extra" holes? Those aren't extra holes. Unscrew both screws, remove the belt, thread the belt through the OPPOSITE direction around the pulleys, and now use those same tw...

Re: Anet A8 y axis overheat

I'm intrigued by this answer. TTx380, could you show all of us where this potentiometer is, and where you monitor the VRef on the board while you tweak it? This is the stock board for an A8: https://cdn.shopify.com/s/files/1/0084/1934/4450/products/1_f3413437-0231-4c65-94db-db3332222127_800x800.jpg?...

Warranty

How does one go about claiming warranty? I bought an Anet A8 Plus less than three weeks ago and already the cord carrying 24V from the power supply to the control board destroyed itself (the terminal burned completely off the wire) and badly damaged the barrier strip on the control board (that whole...
