Last week I was a bit stupid and broke a stepper driver on my Mainboard. I ordered a new one and when it arrived and I connected everything, the display shows nothing but a new brackets after a restart and the display give weird squeek noises. Do I have to flash firmware or is it a indicator I got a broken one? And are there tutorials how to install the original Anet A8 Plus Firmware? I just find Marlin Tutorials and they all not work.
Kind regards

The Board should come with a firmware installed it is possible you received one that is blank or may be for another printer model, several Anet models use the same board. Assuming that the board is functioning. You can contact supplier and verify what they sent you the correct one or will exchange alternately you can flash the correct firmware for your model.
