Funny that Anet stole David's reaction, David is the creator of Marlin from Anet ET4 and Anet made a copy and published as his own. You can verify it by the publication dates

Hello, we credit David's name in our social media sharings. And we're actually talking to David on the going-on paid cooperations.

No es suficiente con decirlo en Facebook si en todos los demás sitios en los que lo tenéis publicado decís que es vuestro, el Marlin es de David, no vuestro.

Maybe it is not enough that we need to told all over the world, but in my know, we only announced the Marlin in this forum no other site. We have done cooperation with David, and we will defend his innovation right. Thanks.

In relation to what I have been seeing for some time on some sites about the "going-on paid cooperations" comments written by Anet marketing department:
I would like to clarify that this principle of agreement began to be discussed in July when I published the Marlin integration code for the ET4/5 printer series. This agreement has not become effective as of today, and, presuming that it may never be effective (latest mail from me to Anet was two weeks ago), and in order not to confuse anyone, I ask Anet to please stop publishing that we are in collaborations or in process of it.
In any case, with or without collaboration, I plan to continue integrating and supporting Marlin and other projects for ET4/5 in my spare time as long as I have motivation and time to do it.

Greetings, for me is act Anet as to users large disillusion. Only thing what this firm showed off be published work David. Herself firm at all does not help users at production of free Firmware Marlin. All guides to easement production are secret inclusive information on used hardware. User have to hunt at problems information variously after internet. Only thing what Anet can is massive publicity his products. Is that a shame and in the face of David.

it is very wrong and disillusion for you, you sold 3D printers but didnt open source it. Now you announced the project but can't pay David's expenses. We are very lost, please sell your machine and upgrade it, don’t worry about how to sold open source

Thank you, David for firmware and huge work you have done! I tried it already, it is good! I wanted to uncomment linear aceleration (to get rid of blobs) and ajust homing_feedrate_z (a bit slow, no patience=). Unfortunetly I did not manage to compile marlin to flash the printer (need to spend more time probably). But the rest of firmware is perfect, much better than original one.

It would be awesome if you could actually compile using vscode and platformIO, but at the moment it doesn't work. Even after changing environment it still returns an error and there is no way to correct this.

Hi Iain,
You are using Autobuild. Don't use it, you are building marlin for mks robin instead et4. Just build with the platform.io build button.
If you keep on having problems, check these instructions:
